All the way from the USA on board his Honda VTR, Colin Edwards finished with 333 points to come home in second.

Another American in the form of Ben Bostrom riding a Ducati 996R compiling 312 points brings it home in third place |
No. 4 Troy Corser
After a few good runs early on, but running into some bad luck later in the year, Aussie Troy Corser on board his Aprilia RSV 1000, with 284 points, ended the year in fourth place, and good on him for having the guts to stand up and have the second race at Phillip Island stopped.
